Our Company

SCROME specialises in the concept creation and engineering of optronic and optic-mechanical instruments and subassemblies for observation, sighting, alignment and metrics in the civil and military sectors.

We have the capacity to develop products starting from the Scope Statement, through the prototype stage to serial production and Total Cost of Ownership including future maintenance.
Our mission to offer quality products based on our human potential for performing studies and calculations is the key to our leading position in optronic and military
optic-mechanical engineering.

Our current presence in the civil sector is based on these same
competences. For example, we produce lens for furnace chambers reaching
temperatures of 1,000 ºC. We work with the Université de Clermont-Ferrand
(France) on virtual reality projects.
With the backing of an international group of shipowners we are working
on an anti-piracy maritime security project.

Thanks to our experience and know-how we have the capacity to conduct operational maintenance in all sectors in which we work. We manage obsolescence, proposing measures for mitigation or modernisation.

SCROMEhas put a quality management system in place under the ISO 9001 version 2008 standard.

Our Company is also a member of GICAT (French Land Defence Manufacturers Association) and GIFO (French Optical Industries Association).
